I managed to get the Evri parcel to its owner, I ended up using my subscription to Ancestry.co.uk to access the UK electoral information to get the correct door number, he was very grateful I’m so pleased it’s been worrying me for weeks, trying to contact Evri customer service was a bust, I tried the web chat, didn’t understand, I called left a message as requested, no one got back to me, called again left a message and called each morning for a week until, this parcel was delivered 10 days ago and I can’t call again ( you gave me someone else’s parcel, they actually put a label over the original label!)

I even sent letter last week asking for help, a return label or any other information they could give me. I’m going to write again tomorrow and ask to be reimbursed for the money I spent on the electoral info, I most probably won’t get a reply but it will make me feel better to complain.

I finished paying for my trip to Japan and even have a taxi booked to take me to the airport…. Roll on March

Good week!

I had a really nice week away from work:

Last Tuesday a visit to Tate Britain to see the Now You See Us: Women Artists in Britain 1520-1920, wonderful exhibition though we originally thought the exhibition was at the Tate Modern so it was a rush to get there for our timed entry.

Last Thursday at trip to St. Catherine Docks for a bit of photography a look around the Tower of London, managed to miss the rain on the way back.

And Friday, shopping at Southend-on-Sea, what gorgeous whether so sunny, so bright!

Back to work Monday ::Sobs::
I know incredible I wouldn't thought it's possible to bruise an elbow but it is (I knock my elbow on a metal catch and ouch it hurts!)

It's been a strange few days, I visited my aunt last Friday, my lovely cousin was there and as per usual when you're with family you bring up the past, complain about other family members, those that have died and then wills (yeah I managed to upset both my mum and aunt, didn't mean to.)

I swear my cousin is my cosmic twin, we're only 6 months apart in age, she mentioned she was putting me in my will, and I'm pretty much adding her and her sister to mine, we're also suffering from the same peri-menopausal symptoms (really itchy arms it's driving me nuts!).

It's wonderful catching up with her and auntie :)

It ended up being quite an emotionally draining weekend.

But today is a bank holiday, I broke out a puzzle and put Wynnona Earp, so nice to have a long weekend, only another couple of weeks before I get some annual leave, I think I might be suffering from a bit of burnout.
Phew! I made it through the week, I was worried and stressed out no having any support at work, but everything turned out fine, it was quite and no one asked me any difficult questions.

So next week I'm visiting the Liverpool building (lovingly known as the Spine or the Giraffe by locals) I wish it wasn't for the 3 days but its worked out so well, I get to close the library services those 3 days and stay at a 4 star hotel.

I will text Sharon to let her know what's she's missing :) but I'm sure she'll be having a wonderful time in Scotland (I don't want her to miss out!)

Fingers and toes crossed the trains run well...

After that I'm working from home for the rest of August as the building is shut.
Labour won the general election!

I had a lovely workday creating webpages

Fish and chips for tea

And I'm watching Ghostbusters Frozen Empire
